About the Owner
My family bought this condo in 1997 as a beach getaway and future retirement spot for my parents, and it’s been part of our family story ever since. My mom was a teacher in Charles County, Maryland, and over the years so many of her fellow teachers and friends loved coming to visit. At one point, they were practically running out of room because everyone wanted a beach weekend here — and quite a few of them eventually retired to the area themselves! After my parents passed in 2012, my wife and I decided to keep it as a place where our four kids — from college down to high school — could continue making beach memories of their own. Life keeps us busy at home, so we love being able to share this special place with other families looking for their own Lewes beach week. We’ve set it up the way we’d want to stay ourselves — comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of fun for downtime after a long day in the sun.
